Accessibility statement.

We want every visitor to be able to use this site, regardless of ability or assistive technology. Last updated 23 April 2026.

Our commitment

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across this website. The core of the site was designed and built with accessibility in mind from the start, rather than retrofitted, but we know there’s always more to do.

What we’ve done

  • Semantic HTML, pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks and list structures so screen readers can navigate them.
  • Keyboard navigation, every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. Focus states are visible.
  • Colour contrast, text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and non-text UI).
  • Alt text, meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative imagery is marked as such.
  • Responsive typography, text scales smoothly up to 200% without breaking the layout.
  • Forms, inputs have visible labels, clear focus states and descriptive error messages.
  • Motion, subtle animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query where available.

Known limitations

There are still a few areas we’re working on:

  • Some installation photography is currently placeholder imagery while we wait for the client to supply real on-site photos. Alt text will improve once those images arrive.
  • The embedded Trustpilot widget is served by Trustpilot, we have limited control over its internal accessibility. See Trustpilot directly if the widget is unreadable for you.

Assistive technology

The site has been designed to work with current versions of the following assistive technologies:

  • VoiceOver (macOS and iOS)
  • TalkBack (Android)
  • NVDA and JAWS (Windows)
  • Browser zoom up to 200%
  • Windows High Contrast mode

We recommend the latest version of your chosen browser for the best experience.

Feedback

If something on this site isn’t working for you, we want to know. Email us at support@djukaelectrics.co.uk or call 07817 967309, tell us which page, what didn’t work, and (if you can) which browser or assistive tech you’re using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 5 working days.

Enforcement

The Equality and Human Rights Commission is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010 in England, Scotland and Wales. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve responded to your accessibility complaint, you may contact them.

Review cycle

We review this statement and re-test the site at least once a year, and whenever we ship a significant update. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent review.
