Commercial energy prices have doubled in five years. A rooftop solar array on a warehouse, office or hospitality site typically pays back in 3–5 years, then delivers 20+ years of near-free electricity. Trusted by local schools and retirement homes and growing across the Midlands.

The business case
The problem
Business electricity rates sit at 28–35p/kWh for most SMEs, up from 13p before 2022. With rates locked in for multi-year terms, there's no easy way out. And meanwhile, stakeholders (tenants, investors, customers) increasingly expect credible ESG and net-zero commitments.
Our solution
A commercial solar array converts a fixed OpEx cost into a one-time CapEx investment that pays itself back in 3–5 years and generates for 20+ more. Combined with battery storage and EV charging, it becomes a full net-zero package, and most of it is tax-deductible as plant and machinery under full expensing.
What's included
From a 30 kWp office rooftop to a 500 kWp warehouse array, the engineering and paperwork are the same, done right, once. Here's what every Djuka commercial install covers.
Flat roof, pitched roof, field-installed ground-mount, or carport canopy. We assess your whole site and spec the array that maximises yield per £ invested.
GivEnergy, SolarEdge commercial, or industrial-scale batteries. Peak-shaves your grid demand charges and stores generation for evening use.
7–22 kW chargers for company fleets, customer parking, or staff chargepoints. OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme paperwork included.
We handle the G99 application, grid connection offer negotiation, and Network Capacity studies where needed. Projects over 50 kWp typically require this.
Detailed 25-year cash-flow forecast. Payback under 4 years, IRR over 20%, NPV positive from day one in most cases. Board-ready financials.
CO₂ savings per year certified. Helps you meet SECR, TCFD, B Corp and investor ESG requirements. Good for your tenants, staff, and balance sheet.

Why Djuka
Trusted by local schools and retirement homes, our existing commercial relationship since before solar was a headline topic.
We don't sub-contract. Your surveyor is your project manager is your commissioning engineer. One phone number for the whole project.
Full accreditation stack including for health-and-safety-assessed contractor status, required by most commercial procurement teams.
Based in Redditch. We travel across the Midlands but never overreach, we want to be there for you next year when something needs attention, not handing you off to a national help desk.
How we work
Site audit, ROI forecast, grid-capacity check.
We visit your site, review 12 months of half-hourly data from your supplier, and produce a feasibility report with three sizing options, each with its own ROI, payback period, and grid-connection implications.
Detailed design, G99 submission, quote.
Structural engineer review (if needed), panel layout optimised for yield, inverter + cabling specified to exact loss tolerances. We submit the G99 application and handle DNO negotiation for larger systems.
Phased install, no business disruption.
For occupied sites we phase the install to avoid disrupting operations, we've done rooftops over Sunday shutdowns, weekend install windows, and evening-only work. Full commissioning, handover, and remote-monitoring setup included.
Share 12 months of energy data (we'll show you how) and we'll return a feasibility report with three sizing options, full ROI model and G99 implications, within a week.
