Public rapid charging runs 55–80p/kWh. A home charger with the right tariff runs as low as 7p/kWh, four-fifths cheaper, from your own driveway, overnight. We install 7kW Zappi, Wallbox, Pod Point and more across the West Midlands.

Why home charging
The problem
UK rapid chargers have crept past 80p/kWh. Even public slow chargers hit 30–45p/kWh. For a typical 10,000-mile-a-year EV driver, that's £800–£1,300 just on fuel, not far off what a petrol car cost.
Our solution
A 7kW home charger paired with an EV-specific tariff like Octopus Go or Intelligent gets you down to 7p/kWh overnight. Add a solar system and you can charge for free in summer daylight hours. We integrate your charger with your solar so it only draws from grid at the cheapest times.
What you get
OZEV-approved and NAPIT-registered. We handle the grant paperwork, the DNO notification, and every cable run in your home.
Zappi, Wallbox, Pod Point, EO Mini, Ohme or similar. All our chargers are OZEV-approved and comply with the 2022 smart-charge regulations.
Zappi and compatible chargers can detect your solar export and charge the car with excess sunshine only. Free miles when the sun's out.
Schedule charging to off-peak hours automatically. Track session cost, miles added, total spend. Works with Octopus, OVO, E.ON Next tariff integrations.
Neatly run from your consumer unit to the charger location, inside walls, through lofts, along brickwork. We match the finish to your existing conduit where we can.
We submit the G99/G98 application to your DNO so the installation is legally approved and insurance-friendly.
Built-in load balancing protects your main fuse, so charging the car doesn't trip the house if the oven, hob and immersion are all running at once.

Why Djuka
Full OZEV approval, up to date with the 2024 regulations and grant rules. Your install qualifies for any available grant on day one.
We install solar AND EV chargers, so we know exactly how to wire them to talk to each other. Most EV-only installers don't.
Installing a charger is an electrical install. We've been NAPIT-registered electricians since 2020, not EV-charger specialists who bolted on electrical qualifications.
Standard installs usually happen within 10 days of the survey. Most are complete in 2–3 hours, you'll have your charger working the same afternoon.
How we work
Answer 5 questions, get a same-day estimate.
Tell us where your fuse box is, where you want the charger, and how long the cable run will be. We'll email a ballpark the same day, no home visit required yet.
15-minute visit, fixed-price quote.
We pop round to check your fuse rating, meter location, and the cable route. If a consumer unit upgrade is needed (some older homes), we'll flag it and price it transparently, no surprise on install day.
2–3 hours, done in an afternoon.
Cables routed, charger mounted, DNO notified, app paired to your phone. We test charging at full 7kW before we leave, walk you through the app, and your paperwork is in your inbox by tomorrow.
Tell us where your fuse box is and where you want the charger. We'll email a same-day estimate, and if you like the number, the charger is usually on your wall within 2 weeks.
